about

DR. RONDA WALLACE
"Give them the opportunity, show them that you care, follow up and watch our future thrive in all capacities."
I believe you must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive in today’s crazy world; your personality, your sense of humor, and most importantly, your heart—all of these elements brought me to start Chronicles of a Principal Chick.
Ever since I launched this project, the blog has been thriving and has quickly gained a loyal following. Now it has expanded to something bigger than I could’ve imagined. From online journaling, I have decided to pour my years of experience in the educational field into other women, who like myself may find themselves navigating a world that isn’t fully compiled of diversity. With this new journey I’ve decided to embark on, I hope to show women of color they are not alone, and together we can open doors for others who desire to take on the challenges of educating our youth!

my reasons why!
A mission is a strongly felt aim, ambition, or calling. A purpose is the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists. For me, the need to help other women of color excel in the realm of education is both.
MY MISSION
Being a woman of color in leadership can be very challenging. There are many inequities. My mission is to provide straightforward mentoring and consulting service for aspiring female principals of color in hopes I will assist in increasing awareness and development opportunities ensuring a seamless transition from educator to leadership roles.
MY PURPOSE
My purpose is to empower individuals through mentoring and leadership development, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. I am dedicated to nurturing potential and cultivating leaders who inspire others. By providing personalized guidance and support, I aspire to help individuals unlock their strengths, navigate challenges, and achieve their aspirations. Together, we create a vibrant community where continuous learning and personal development are celebrated, ensuring that everyone can thrive and contribute to a brighter future.
MENTORSHIP. CONSULTATION. EMPOWERMENT.
To be real, women of color are treated differently in leadership positions. We have to work harder and speak louder while proving to others that we have the knowledge and skills to lead. Being in this profession for over twenty years has led me to understand what is needed when women of color are chosen for leadership positions. The “real” is challenging, but with support, direction and a desire, women of color in leadership positions can overcome the disparities and inequities that we deal with as leaders.
